NSWC Dev and A/B Meet Sign Up
The sign up for the June 19th NSWC Development Meet closes June 14th. Thank you to all who signed up so far! The NSWC Dev meet package is linked in this email and has lots of useful information!
Here are a few tips for the meet: Dress for the rain and for the cold being it is an outdoor pool, bring multiple swim suits and towels to stay warm and dry, bring small snacks instead of big meals (easier for kids to consume between races).
Group 2 Tuesday morning practice was incorrectly unlisted on the calendar. Group 2 will continue to have practices Tuesday mornings 6:45-8:00 at Ron Andrews.
Group 3 and 4 Saturday June 15th morning practice now starts at 6:15am instead of 5:45am.
I have created a guide if your athlete is trying to work on a duet! The document includes the music times, required elements, and tips on how to create a duet. I hope this can help answer some questions athletes are having. Please note that our duet times are any of the following:
Saturday RA 1:30-3:30pm
Sunday HJ 5-8pm
The file is available on the synchro page.
Registration is now open! The Hoot is on July 4th from 7-10pm at Watermania. You can register on our website. Please register ASAP if you intend to attend, the deadline is June 28th.
We will soon be ordering our team suits. Coaches of each team will choose a suit, and we will order them altogether. Payment information will be available shortly. Please email me your athletes swim suit size at either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. If we do not hear from you, we will just check their size at practice.
Diving Parent Package
Please take a look at the PDF parent package, available on the dive tab of the website!
All divers are strongly encouraged to participate, we really want divers to have the experience of competing in a meet. It doesn't matter how many dives they can do or their skill level, everyone can attend!
Parents can support their children by:
- Signing up for the meet via the Google Form by June 14th (on website)
- Show up at RA no later than 3:30pm for the meet
- Help out with small tasks in the meet
- Meet fees are included in membership fees
Please note that the P2 practice on Wednesdays has been changed from 7:30 start time to 8:30 start time.
All practices on Sunday June 16th will be canceled due to the Burnaby Tournament.
The date has been finalized for the laser tag event! There was a large majority who voted for 3:45pm - 5:45pm Monday June 17th.
I’ve been receiving quite a few emails about the schedule for the upcoming Burnaby tournament. The schedule should be coming out within the next couple of days and I will send it out as soon as I have it!
